| Boise and Beyond I still have yet to process all that has happened. I am still traveling. At the moment, I am typing from the Portland Gift Show, I've been back down to Utah for a quick wedding, driving again only two days after returning from the NY trip. I flew this time, but will be driving up to Seattle for a few days and then flying back to Boise. I'm Jet Setting about. Pretty cool. And it doesn't stop there, returning to NYC again for the Licensing Show at the end of the month. A few things to contemplate... Drive across the country when you can stop and see the sights, avoiding the mundane I-80 in favor of a more scenic route. Stay in the Hotel Wolcott or some other cheap boutique hotel while in the city, invest in meals instead. See the city from the Long Island commuter ferry. It's a free ride and worth the effort. Dress like you're Fabulous and not a tourist. Bring your own pillow. You'll be glad you did. Wear comfortable and stylish shoes. Have gel pads if necessary. And soak your feet at night in cold water. |
